Journey to Women’s Health
When Ginger was pregnant, she was struck by her care team's lack of nutrition support. Beyond the basic recommendation of a prenatal vitamin, she was left uninformed. She personally researched nutrition in pregnancy and learned about the nutritional requirements. However, finding safe and effective prenatal vitamins that met those needs was incredibly challenging. The supplement market is poorly regulated and overwhelming, and supplements alone are insufficient. A balanced dietary pattern is crucial to meet the recommended intake of vitamins, minerals, and macronutrients for a healthy pregnancy.
It’s disheartening that many women are left in the dark about nutrition or do not receive guidance on how nutrition can improve fertility, pregnancy outcomes, and various debilitating health conditions. She experienced the frustration of seeking guidance that wasn’t there. Women deserve better, and Ginger is on a mission to help them tap into the power of nutrition.
